The Theatrical Event working group’s Call for papers From research towards publication: new fields to be investigated Intermediate meeting, Stockholm April 20-22, 2023

The themes for the publication will be the themes we discussed the last two years: Theatre

for Young Audience (TYA), Amateur Theatre and Student Theatre.

Group members are invited to send in revised and improved versions of the papers they

presented over the past two iFTR conferences in Galway and in Reykjavik. You are

encouraged to send in your paper even if you can’t attend the meeting.

The call is also open for new contributors, who are encouraged to familiarize themselves

with the books the Working Group has already published, in particular some of the

theoretical ideas and models which were presented in their various publications. Look also in

the description given on the Workin Groups webpage at www.iftr.org.

The group accepts discussion on subjects that concern happenings within a theatre, as well

as events that occur outside a theatre but bear theatrical characteristics, which can be

analyzed through the lens of the theatrical event.

Deadline for sending in revised papers is March 30, 2023.
