Intermediality WG in Hyderabad

In response to the theme of the Hyderabad conference in 2015, we propose the following questions: - dissemination, access, and privilege in digital performance - intermediality and the politics of public sphere - intermedial performance and representations of identity - intermediality and multiculturalism - gender and intermedial performance - digital performance and traditional theatre
The list is not exhaustive, and we are encouraging other topics that address intermediality, even if they do not directly refer to the conference theme.

SUBMISSION
The extended deadline for submission is 15 February 2015.
Please submit an abstract of max 300 words along with a short bio of max 50 words.

Please note that you need to be a current IFTR/FIRT member in order to submit an abstract.

ACCEPTANCE
Applicants will be informed of acceptance by the end of February 2015.
REGISTRATION
Registration will open on 1 March 2015.
FORMAT OF CONFERENCE SESSIONS
The co-conveners will arrange proposals into panels of papers on connected topics. We invite 20-minute presentations in any format. We are keen on encouraging a lively discussion during the sessions.
We also invite observers to our sessions and we appreciate their contribution to the discussions.
The group is welcoming and inclusive. We will organize drinks/ dinner during the conference for the members of the group.
