The Venue for the IFTR2025 Conference

Although the Theaterwissenschaftliche Sammlung (TWS) [Theatre Collection] acts as the host institution for IFTR 2025, the congress itself will take place at the main campus of the University of Cologne, Albertus-Magnus-Platz, 50923 Cologne Germany!
The Main Campus is located in the heart of the city, therefore is easy to reach. For information on how to reach the congress venue,here is a link to a more detailed article describing the methods of travel. 

Accommodation in Cologne

Using this following link you can find a PDF file with all the relevant information regarding accommodation in Cologne. You will find a list of hotels where a certain contingent of rooms has been reserved for you until March 10. The list also includes other affordable places where you can stay, sorted by price range.

Visa Requirements

Please start applying for visas as soon as possible if necessary (check following link to find an overview of visa requirements listed by the German Federal Foreign Office).
The hosting Institution is happy to answer any questions and be of help. We advise to check their website and linked information before writing an e-mail.

If you need an invitation letter for your visa application in addition to the letter of acceptance you received, please follow the link in the letter of acceptance! The form for requesting an invitation letter can only be reached via this link, you will not be able to find it otherwise.

We thank everyone who was eager to register immediately and kindly ask for a little more patience. The Early Bird Registration will be possible from 1 March 2025.

You can register to the conference via Cambridge Core.
