A full-time four-year PhD position at Theatre Studies, Stockholm University, is open for applications. The position starts September 1.

In order to meet the general entry requirements, the applicant must have completed a second- cycle degree, completed courses equivalent to at least 240 higher education credits, of which 60 credits must be in the second (advanced) cycle, or have otherwise acquired the equivalent knowledge, either in Sweden or abroad. 

In order to meet the specific entry requirements, the general syllabus for doctoral studies in the field of Theatre Studies stipulates that applicants must have successfully passed the Master course in Theatre and Performance Studies, or successfully completed an advanced level written thesis in Theatre Studies. 

The eligibility requirements may be fulfilled by an applicant who has acquired the equivalent competence within or outside the country. The qualification requirements must be met by the deadline for applications.
