The University of Glasgow is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Global Majority Theatre and Performance (full-time, permanent). Deadline: 14 June 2023.

The University of Glasgow is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Global Majority Theatre and Performance, with research and teaching expertise in the histories, theories and/or practices of global majority theatre and performance, including transnational, indigenous and diasporic communities of practice.

 

We welcome applications from candidates who engage across temporal and geographic locations, as well as those who focus on specific historical and cultural contexts. We are excited to hear about scholarship which intersects with or expands upon one or more of the following lenses: historiographies of global performance; anti-racist and decolonial praxis; social and reparative justice; critical race theory, and environmental arts/humanities.

This post is full time (35 hrs per week) and open ended.

Salary: £38,474 to £43,155
